Tomatoes are coming on!

DH brought in quite a few tomatoes this morning. I'm excited because two of them were heirloom. We aren't to the point where I need to can, but I can hardly wait until we are. I am going to make more juice this year because I have really enjoyed drinking homemade tomato juice.

The first batch of onions are about gone. DH says he will put in another planting.

How are your gardens going?

    I was never much of a gardener, but I sure appreciate fresh from the garden tomatoes and veggies! I'm lucky to have a few farm stands in the area I can buy from. Delish!

    No garden this year! The soil here at my rental is not good...maybe next year if we are in a new place. Smile Enjoy your veggies!!

    Mine is going along okay. I am waiting for the tomatoes to turn red. I am harvesting zucchini, broccoli, kale, chard, lettuce, green onions, sorrel, blueberries, Marion berries, and raspberries. The strawberries are done. The green beans are very tiny, about two inches long and really thin, but they will come on fast now. I did bush beans this year as I couldn't handle planting in the ground and then having to pick some stuff that was low to the ground, and I could do bush beans in the two foot tall raised beds. My kohlrabi was lost to aphids and slugs. I was so disappointed!

    We only have a few bell pepper plants this year.
