Favorite Christmas Movie

Do you have a favorite Christmas movie? There are loads of them out there, that's for sure!

My favorite is "It's A Wonderful Life." It just has such a sweetness to it, that one person can make such a difference. I only hope that I make a difference in people's lives. But it also had the financial aspect to it...money played a part, but George Bailey realized life and living was more important than money, even if it makes things more comfortable.

We usually watch the same Christmas movies each year. There's something comforting about them. I always like a movie with a happy ending, though, don't you?

    If I had to choose a favorite Christmas movie it would be "A Christmas Story", who doesn't love some Ralphie! "It's a Wonderful Life" is also a favorite. All of the lives that you help support through making the hats, gloves and scarves that are donated to those who need them certainly make a big difference. This kind of kindness in today's world is so needed.

    I hope that you and your DH and friends and family all have a very Merry Christmas!

    It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite, too! A couple of years back, a local theater had a special showing of it; that was a fun experience.

    Close seconds are A Christmas Story and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

    My favorite is "Polar Express" for the artistry and the sweet message about believing. And also because it mentions Herpolsheimer's, which was a department store I visited in my youth!

    I love Miracle on 34th Street. The message of ‘believing’ rings true to me.

    But the first time I saw A Christmas Story was on a Thanksgiving surrounded by family and we laughed so so hard. That memory is especially sweet, and over the years the movie watching has been passed down to the children of the young adults in the room that night, and the family quoting from so many of the scenes year round make it incredibly special.

    It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite. Also like A Charlie Brown Christmas. I've never seen A Christmas Story.

    I like most Christmas movies but I love Christmas songs, especially Mariah Carey’s “all I want for Christmas is you” song!
